New concerns among students about the need for work experience to get into university, not just for when they get out

In the wake of this year’s results day, new concerns spread among the next wave of university hopefuls, and this time the issue was not tuition fees. In the weeks that followed, students checked into The Student Room not just with their worries about the need for work experience later in life, but both pre and mid A-level students asked whether they need it in order to improve their chances of securing a place at university.
