So what does your job actually involve? Tell us all about it!

As a Key Account Manager, I help my clients reach and engage motivated students from the UK and around the world. After a lot of listening, questioning and data-grinding I put together campaigns which are strategic, targeted and set up to succeed.

What's the most unique part of your role at The Student Room?

Working closely with so many universities means I have to understand what makes every one of them distinct and special. By advising the right mix of media, I get to share in universities' successes - lots of potential for high-five moments!

What do you find most exciting about working in the student & youth market?

I love how democratic the site is. TSR is all about "by the students, for the students". It's the richest, most innovative student resource out there and the best thing is it keeps on getting better (I just wish it had been around when I was a student).

If you could give your student self one piece of advice what would it be?

Take a Gap Year. I felt those who took time off between A Levels and University had more life skills, were more interesting, more savvy and got more out of the experience... that's just my opinion though!
