I head up the team that focuses on/account manages non-university education clients such as specialist education providers, distance learning providers and FE/HE colleges. These clients often compete with universities but have smaller budgets and face other challenges such as geographical restrictions.
What's the most unique part of your role at The Student Rom?
Since being at TSR I have worked with UK universities, international universities, colleges and other HE education providers, as well as being involved in the UK's largest student community, so I really have seen all sides of the fence and the challenges and decisions each person goes through. These experiences have massively helped me understand how I can help institutes with reaching their marketing objectives.
What do you find most exciting about working in the student & youth market?
Keeping up to date with students and seeing their conversations, questions and knowledge - it really is fascinating and amazing to see how supportive they are.
If you could give your student self one piece of advice what would it be?
Choose the end goal first, and then pursue the courses that will help you get there!
