Being an Account Manager on the consumer sales team; my role involves me engaging, inspiring and educating our key consumer clients on the key benefits of The Student Room Group's products. My day to day role sees me externally meeting clients, responding to incoming briefs as well as pro-actively pitching for new business.
What's the most unique part of your role at The Student Rom?
The opportunity to engage with innovative and forward thinking consumer brands and to sell a product which I truly believe in.
What do you find most exciting about working in the student & youth market?
The Student market is the most exciting environment within which to be placed right now. These audiences are at a crucial stage in their lives where they are making pivotal decisions which they are likely to maintain for many years. To have the opportunity to speak with them in a space which they choose to engage with and at such a crucial time is really exciting!
If you could give your student self one piece of advice what would it be?
Eat more bad food, have even more fun and don't stress about exams and coursework as it will all work out in the end!
