A bit about Kindra...

So what does your job actually involve? Tell us all about it!

As Business Development Manager within the Consumer Team, my role is to meet with Agencies and Brands to connect and engage them with the youth Audience. As we are now moving into the programmatic trading space, I will also now be working with agency trading desks to put together campaigns that allow brands to reach certain audiences in an even more engaging way.

What's the most unique part of your role at The Student Room?

What makes my role exciting is the ability to be creative, devising bespoke campaign ideas that are so much more than adverts with banners and buttons, but inspiring and exciting marketing solutions. Using our youth community to create a buzz and conversation about a brand, no two campaigns are the same!

What do you find most exciting about working in the student & youth market?

Being able to create an campaign that can influence students right at the time that they're forming opinions and brand perceptions that may well remain for the rest of their lives is powerful. How many of us chose our bank account when we were a student and remained with that same bank account for 10, 20 years afterwards?

If you could give your student self one piece of advice what would it be?

Always push yourself out of your comfort zone, and never stop learning...
