So what does your job actually involve? Tell us all about it
I look after community and engagement - this basically means keeping the community happy! My role covers writing articles, posting lots on social media, customer service, moderation on the site, liaising with the support team members, and generally keeping the site clean and tidy.
What's the most unique part of your role at The Student Room?
Having to interact with such a broad range of users - from the very good to the very bad.
What do you find most exciting about working in the student & youth market?
Young people have such strong opinions now, and they aren't afraid to make their voices heard. It's so interesting to hear what they're saying, and the eloquent and informed way they're saying it.
If you could give your student self one piece of advice what would it be?
Trust in yourself!
