So what does your job actually involve? Tell us all about it!
I'm the community editor on The Student Room. You could call me TSR's 'word ninja' but, on second thoughts, that's a terrible idea. Makes me sound all David Brent... Really, I'm the writing chap - I put together features and new sections on the site, all of which is designed to entertain and inform the TSR community.
What's the most unique part of your role at The Student Room?
The whole job is unique: every day we're helping to build a resource that thousands of students rely on for support in all kinds of ways. Editorially, it means we can offer them the kind of help and advice that they might not be able to find elsewhere.
What do you find most exciting about working in the student & youth market?
I feel the site really makes a difference to students' lives, and it's exciting to be a part of that. As a team, we help to build a community that is there for people at a pivotal point in their lives.
If you could give your student self one piece of advice what would it be?
Make the most of the freedom and opportunities that are open to you while you're young. Don't rely on teachers to guide you - you'll need to take that on yourself. Be careful with that catapult.
