The Student Room (TSR), the world’s largest online student community, has appointed Tony Lyons as Head of Commercial Marketing.
Tony’s appointment is part of a programme of growth and investment at The Student Room, focused on building its offering for over 3 million members and 7 million visitors a month, as well as its education and commercial clients. He will focus on developing and driving TSR’s commercial strategy and will be based at the company’s Brighton offices.
Tony brings 10 years commercial experience joining The Student Room from Aston University where he headed up their postgraduate marketing, leading strategic recruitment, marketing and admissions initiatives. Prior to that Tony built up extensive media and advertising knowledge launching new digital offerings and leading advertising teams for the likes of The Sunday Times and Midlands News Association.
