A North West university used our sentiment and trends to understand student revision needs. They then created a revision and wellbeing CRM journey as a result which in turn, boosted conversion rates.

An Official Rep is a representative who can engage directly with students on The Student Room. We position and badge your Reps as the authoritative voice of your university, so students know they can trust your communications.

Reps will be at the heart of opinion-forming conversations where they can post and answer questions, set up threads on topics that matter to you, and respond when students are talking about your university.

Enhancing from our current offering of just three Official Reps to the new unlimited Reps feature, allows you to provide each of your ambassadors with their own log-in. With 96% of Year 11s telling us they want more information from universities, this feature will drive awareness in the  early engagement pool as well as support conversion for those in Year 13 making applications.

As an 'always on' product, deep affinity brand building works by including interesting "Did you know?" facts about your university and 4/5 star student reviews from The Uni Guide in our high-engagement student emails and in our articles and discussions on site and in the app.  

These elements are based on location, subject, university, and competitor targeting and are the only commercial items to be included within our highly trusted and engaging student emails. 

This feature: 

  • Extends your reach to a Year 11 audience right though to enrolment 
  • Builds credibility and trust with students through authentic comms and long-term engagement

University profile and course listings on The Uni Guide

The Uni Guide is a trusted, impartial university comparison site which empowers prospective students to make informed choices about which universities to shortlist.  

A university profile on The Uni Guide is your shop window for prospective applicants. You can include key information and engaging content for applicants who are making decisions about where to study to help you stand out against your competitors. 

You'll clearly own both your university profile and course pages on The Uni Guide. This will include:

  • Removal of competitor ads so users stay focused on your institution
  • Embedding of video and other enhanced profile features such as discussions to help you showcase the best of your institution and student experience when students are actively researching on The Uni Guide
  • Pinned student reviews to build trust and attract prospective students
  • Prominent lead buttons to drive data capture and conversion

Owned discussions

Have brand presence and own the space where students are discussing topics around your university e.g. in subject forums, accommodation forums or in our UCAS, Clearing and Applications forum.  

This presence adopts a more native experience than traditional display advertising, with the key elements always staying in high profile view as the user scrolls down the page. This reduces repeated banner ads on a page to make it a cleaner user experience, ensures users are fully engaged with your university discussions and will drive leads for your university.
