The Student Room launch new event series ‘Bridging the gap’ to connect students and government

Ada - Pioneering Programmatic

As the largest online student community, The Student Room homes discussions from millions of users who share their challenges, seek support and receive useful peer-to-peer advice.

Listening to what young people say every day, The Student Room’s mission is to amplify the student voice. We want to speak up about the difficult topics they have to face and help them identify the right pathway for them. We do this by providing a platform for valuable, impartial support and partnering with relevant organisations.

The launch of our exclusive event series, ‘Bridging the gap’, will connect government and students. We’re inviting representatives from all departments to join us in amplifying the student voice, as we share with them a route into the minds of young people, advising on how, when and what to communicate to students to ensure you get maximum and genuine engagement.
Already set on the agenda for the first event will include:

  • Hannah Morrish, Student Choice and Higher Education Lead at TSR, sharing a window into how students think, feel and behave
  • A student voice to share insights into how young people are feeling about student life and education in the UK
  • Julie Vincent, Managing Director at Vincent Consulting will demonstrate findings from the Options 2018/19 report, which looks into over 10,000 young people’s educational pathways

The event will be held on the 14th November in London, please contact us if you’d like to find out more about how you could be involved.
